Sarah Morse has been a research project coordinator since 2020. In Arts & Sciences’ Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences, Morse supports the Dynamic Cognition Lab, led by Jeff Zacks, and the Complex Memory Lab, led by Zach Reagh.
Her work covers study design, data collection, analysis and administrative support, helping students, postdoctoral researchers and faculty members focus on the science of memory and aging.
Sarah is a model citizen at WashU and is truly indispensable to those around her. She is a constant source of advice, support, problem-solving and positivity and she famously bakes delicious homemade treats for every one of her colleagues.

For Morse, that sense of connection is one of the best parts of working at WashU.
“It’s difficult to imagine a better work environment than one where all of your team members and supervisors care so deeply about one another,” Morse said. “I love being able to help foster that sense of community and I especially love making new friendships through WashU.”
Morse enjoys many different hobbies including cycling, hiking, foraging, baking, making pottery, gardening and walking her dog.
